Since having moved away from Germany 4 years ago, I’ve wondered about this negativity. German-language analysis is full of apocalyptic doom, predicting the EU’s collapse and other similar catastrophes even at times when the odds are against it.
Maybe it’s a mentality, but maybe also an info op ?
