Russia has been targeting energy facilities in Ukraine for quite some time. Imagine a neighboring nation next to yours did that to you. No electricity, no fuel, nothing to burn to stay warm in the cold of winter. Ukraine has every right to fight back.

Some thoughts on Jimmy Carter and the law. He struggled with civil rights in his early political career— often straddling private sympathy and public moderation. His campaign was not free of racial into. But once governor, Carter made this call to end discrimination with a line that shocked Georgia.

For three years, we've been listening to MAGA chuds say it was "pro-war" and "imperialist" for the USA to arm Ukraine in its fight for survival against Russian aggression.

Now, those *very same people* are in favor of Trump's plans to invade Canada, Mexico, Greenland, and Panama.

Do not be afraid.

Patience.

We will overcome.

“The reason is that, when emissions stop, atmospheric CO2 will begin to decline as it is absorbed by the ocean and land biosphere. This in turn reduces heating of the climate system — e.g., turns down the heater on the climate hot tub.”
If you accept the science that shows the greenhouse gases we pump into the sky causes warming, you also have to accept the science that shows what happens if we stop.

V v good @andrewdessler.com post showing what happens if we stop causing climate change ->
