This is reckless. Federal agents are leaving live 9mm rounds behind, putting the public at risk. A child could easily find them. Properly trained officers are taught to secure all ammunition and clear a scene before leaving.

ICE reportedly used an AI résumé screener that sent applicants with the word “officer” on their résumé into a shortened four-week training, even when they had no law enforcement experience. Some weren’t LEOs at all, just flagged by software.

Maybe there’s a good reason for this, but it still seems kind of shady. I haven’t had time to dig deep yet, but the administration admits the proceeds from seized Venezuelan oil are being held in Qatar.
