After Hitler lost the war, the belief among SS and Gestapo officials that they were untouchable collapsed almost overnight. Nazi leaders were prosecuted, the SS and Gestapo were declared criminal organizations, and thousands were tried, convicted, and imprisoned.
If ICE agents were obeying the law, Miller wouldn't have to claim they have "federal immunity." If Trump's misuse of ICE was legal, they wouldn't need immunity. Either way, they remain subject to the Constitution and can be charged at the state level. They can all be charged, including Trump.

I’ll say the same thing I say about Putin attacking civilians in Ukraine. If Trump really wants to end the violence, he’d pull back his army instead of threatening citizens with it.

Minnesota lawmakers say ICE agents have entered hospitals, detaining patients and alarming staff, after “sensitive locations” protections were rolled back. Even under the laws of war, hospitals and medical workers are generally protected.

ICE agents ate at a family-owned Mexican restaurant in Willmar, Minnesota, then returned hours later and arrested workers from the same place, according to reporting by the Minnesota Star Tribune.

The Washington Post reports that the El Paso County Medical Examiner is likely to rule the death of Geraldo Lunas Campos in ICE custody a homicide. A detainee says he witnessed guards choke Campos to death inside the detention center.
