Best decision of my academic life might have been to not take NLP too seriously in grad school… what a wiped-out subfield, GPT definitely took those jobs

Dog mountain is a charming place of remembrance. Much concentrated evidence of love for dog. Definitely visit if you are around it
Owners can find solace in pet cemeteries and on Dog Mountain, a pet-centric pilgrimage in Vermont. Every year, hundreds of dogs show up here for a celebration of life. Thousands more arrive in spirit.
After our pet died, traveling to Dog Mountain was my therapy
Owners grieving over their pets can find solace in places that celebrate animals and their people, such as pet cemeteries and Dog Mountain in Vermont.

One of the things I took away from the 60s and Richard Nixon, first mentioned by Hunter Thompson, but I believe to be true, is the fact that we believed, at time, that all our protesting, marching and sign waving was futile and pointless when in fact, it drove Richard Nixon to alcohol fueled madness

It caught me by surprise how quickly eugenics became acceptable, in different dimensions, by both the right and the left in America
At the end of the day, so much of these moral panics are driven by eugenics and the belief that certain people shouldn't exist.
Azeen Ghorayshi at the NYT has moved on from going after trans people and is now pushing the leasing question that autism diagnoses are too common because of its expansion of it to a spectrum.

Living in an exurb must be so grim. Their whole engagement with culture is big box stores and chain restaurants. This is what they feel nostalgia for because this is their whole life.
This is doing numbers on social media right now and it's so depressing how people truly yearn for this shit and want to preserve that feeling indefinitely like a mausoleum of false memories.

It can’t be said enough that the Democratic Party isn’t strictly real. America doesn’t have real political parties. The Democrats are a loose affiliation of donor networks and elected officials that allow you to use their brand name if you win an election.
The Democratic Party did not try to clobber Mamdani. A faction of the party did. The Democratic Party just nominated him for mayor.
