Good morning Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Twin Cities! I'll be sharing songs every few hours to break up the timeline so that there's reminders for you to move your body and/or complete the stress cycle in between whatever actions you are taking today. Don't forget to take breaks when you can. 🧵
Went to a new barber today and they fucked up my hair and tried to downplay it. I'm really disappointed. However, it solidified for me that I don't think I'm a short-hair genderfluid, at least for this next season.

This neighbor really needs our help. In the absence of @governorwalz.mn.gov enacting an eviction moratorium, our only tool for keeping families in their homes safe from abductions is crowdfunding.
Can you help us keep this Minneapolis neighbor and her family safe from ICE?

One of her daughters has been on the frontline while also working to bring back neighbors kidnapped by ICE back to Minneapolis. It’s time for us to also show up for them.

It’s a privilege to represent an ~80% renter community. The most vulnerable of my constituents, along with vulnerable renters across the Southside and Minneapolis, are at risk of losing their homes come the 1st when rent is due. We need @governorwalz.mn.gov to enact an eviction moratorium NOW.

We need an EVICTION MORATORIUM NOW.

Our neighbors risk being separated from their families when they go to work. They also run the risk of being displaced if they don’t.

Sadly, Mayor Frey refused to sign the resolution calling on the Governor to enact this moratorium.

comparing the forced mourning for Charles Entertainment Kirk only producing a series of hilarious memes and trying to smear/silence Renee Good and Alex Pretti and sparking national movement in the dead of winter, their control of the media apparatus is both complete and completely ineffective

I still wish the music in the Mario movies were approached differently. It is constant nodding/winking to the audience and very "DURRRRRNNNNNNNN" and I absolutely CANNOT. It's lazy.

I don't want to dislike these movies, but I believe if it had not been made by Illumination I could handle it.

Alex used to hand out candles to his neighbors when the power went out.

Light a candle for Alex. Show them we still have light.

You know it feels weird as hell but I am still going to go spend some money at places that shut down yesterday.

Weirder then hell and not the joyous thing I was expecting when I awoke.
It’s real that struggling businesses are taking the hit today for expressing solidarity with the victims of ICE slavecatchers. So for those with means, I declare the weekend Spent That Shit Saturday and Sunday at their shops and eateries to provide them some instant payback. #spendthatshit

Citizens on the scene at Nicollet are not protesters.

Stop calling them protesters.

They are WITNESSES.
