If I hate anything at the moment, it’s that you can lose the popular vote in a Presidential election but still get the job due to the Electoral College? Terrible. Bonkers. Offensive even as someone who takes voting seriously.

Considering recent events, we're incredulous as to why the only place you can access real time updates on delays/issues/cancellations for Irish Rail is on X. We'll be writing to them next week calling for them to move this service off X & on to their website where it's more accessible for all users.

I don’t use it at all. I hate that thing. And one of the reasons is because I’ve seen family members with dementia struggle to find words. To remember. I am blessed to have my faculties such as they are. I won’t outsource my cognitive abilities to an inferior machine.
Also the bubbles we're all in are insane now and I guess we're all happy in our own. Apart from me he says never met anyone who doesn't love ChatGPT. And he's deeply sceptical when I say that not everyone uses it all the time.
I genuinely think mild AI psychosis might be quite widespread. An otherwise sane and lovely friend recently try to convince me they'd made a breakthrough in an unsolved crime thanks to "work" he'd been doing with ChatGPT. It's hard to know what to do with that.

In the past we’ve made bagel slices smeared with peanut butter as makeshift bird food. Tie it to a post or tree with string. They also will eat leftover Xmas cafe & pudding.
If you can leave some food out for the birds especially if you feed them now and then as they’ll be checking everywhere for food this morning to keep them going. My crows and starlings are starving!

I remind myself how Momo lived through a lot of bullshit with far fewer appliances but kept the faith, gave people hell (& help) & was always down to party & do what she enjoyed. So there’ll always be strife but hold grudges, mind community, & enjoy your shows/books while you go about your life

Writing fanfic used to help me reset my brain after a lengthy spell writing policies and youth programme packs when I found it hard to focus on a book or magazine.
Fanfic is the gateway for many to write, to pratice writing! Its their stepping stones to writing original fic, sometimes based off the fanfic itself!
Saving the video for when I have the brain for it, but I wrote fanfic for years before I started my original fiction. And while there are certain stylistic tendencies in fanfic I'm not fond of, doubt that's what's getting taken to task here. I assume someone spoke in astounding ignorance?
