Photo shows 5 Greenlandic women in their national dress with beaded yokes. In the late 1920s Norway sought to possess East Greenland. Norwegian knitting designer Annichen Sibbern Bøhn designed a sweater which mimicked the Greenlandic beaded yoke. And that's how yoked sweaters became a thing. 🧵

Is it a particularly Irish thing to not install amenities or take amenities away Just In Case someone unsavoury uses them?

Finally finished knitting the first sleeve on my jumper. Thought I was immune to getting stranded on sleeve island but nope. Now to do the next one. I’ve changed to different needles in the hope of going a bit faster. #knitting

Our entire regulatory framework has proved to be no more than a painted balsa wood front.
The AG here confirms it is illegal to generate CSAM.
We also gave CnaM the power to act on any material which was not illegal, but was offensive.

Last night while looking for the Aurora at the start of the display we saw a really bright meteor. Someone in the local what’s app even got a video of it.
