I like to collect MTG precons, and the Lorwyn set just shows how cheap Wizards of the Coast is becoming. The sample collector booster pack is gone, the life counter is gone, the extra commander card for display is gone, and the products all cost more. These cards cost less than a penny to print.

The First Law Trilogy, by Joe Abercrombie. Definitely recommend to fans of Game of Thrones. Dial up the magic and hopelessness, dial down the descriptions of food, couple that with the fact that the trilogy has an actual ending, great characters, and an insanely fun plot, and you get First Law.

The First Law Trilogy, by Joe Abercrombie. Definitely recommend to fans of Game of Thrones. Dial up the magic and hopelessness, dial down the descriptions of food, couple that with the fact that the trilogy has an actual ending, great characters, and an insanely fun plot, and you get First Law.
I’ll still watch The Frustration of Khan too. Kelvin timeline is hella fun.

Revolution. I mean, I like a lot of their music (Run for Your Life is a definite exception I can do without). Revolution is absolutely what came to mind first. I actually have a $5 note that has a picture of Chairman Mao I’ve had in my wallet for, like, 15 years mow as a personal in-joke.
