Unfortunately I don't see much evidence of the Paris agreement resulting in significant reduction in GHG emissions.

I have yet to see an attribution study of a relative decrease of CO₂ emissions from SSP5-8.5. E.g. correcting for COVID and the energy wars.

Collision is practically unavoidable:

Was really hoping this Rough-leg would hang around for a bit. It arrived with the cold polar air and seemed to move on as it warmed up.

Spent several hours searching for it and watching it as they’re a rare bird now. Got to enjoy them while you can…

Maybe it will pop up somewhere

Imagine the potential impact & the change in the conversation if everyone who wants to see climate change addressed, switched to a plant-based diet & stopped flying.

If we want to see meaningful change, we should at least make the effort ourselves. It shows we are serious.

I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

Code Yikes!

As of November 25th, Arctic sea-ice extent just hit a new record daily low and is now more than 32,000 km² below the previous record low for the date, set in 2016.

Current extent is more than 1,360,000 km² below the 1991-2020 average.

If only conservation organisations would promote low-carbon lifestyles and plant-based diets as much as they promote high-carbon travel and lifestyles…

The results of 30+ years show a more direct and honest approach is needed.

UNEP’s new report shows how a smarter, fairer, sustainable cooling pathway can expand cooling access for billions without doubling emissions.

Profoundly infuriating. Every single barrel of oil pumped moves us deeper into dangerous climate change. The science is absolutely clear about this: the carbon budget to limit to 1.5°C is practically gone. Tipping points loom. We need rapid fossil fuel PHASE OUT.

Tax wealth!
#votegreen
The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population.

How can this Labour Government say this is a "cost of living" budget and refuse to tax the rich?

They care about protecting power and wealth. And cost of living is a buzz phrase for them. Dire.

The huge problem that Puffins face is climate change. A massive 93% decline is predicted by 2050.

Yet, I haven’t seen a single reference to this in any reports or comments on Puffin numbers recently.

Which is quite strange 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
November 26, 2025 at 4:49 PM
Puffins in the news today, but no mention of the 90% decline in numbers the BTO predict by 2050, caused by rising sea surface temperatures affecting prey and therefore chick survival… 🤷‍♂️🙄

Don’t look up!
