Fun with matrix / list transposition. For part 2 I needed to preserve character positions (i.e. I could not just throw out whitespace), and the columns of the input matrix are not uniform widths.

It’s always heartbreaking to see this (and similar) image of Jazzland. The 2nd roller coaster from the bottom - a Vekoma Boomerang - was the exact coaster that produced data for my BSE and MS theses. Many of my grad school colleagues’ lab was in the Boggs building at Tulane, my lab was this park.
Six Flags New Orleans, two weeks after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The drainage and failure of flood pumps left brackish water sitting 5-7 ft deep for over a month.
It's still abandoned, and super creepy now. Plans were just approved to turn it into "Bayou Phoenix" a water park & sports complex.
