The beginning
25 years ago today, SCOTUS elected George W Bush president of the United States by blocking completion of a voting canvass in Florida. A subsequent canvass by the Associated Press showed that Bush's rival, Al Gore, had won the race in Florida—and thus the contest for the presidency—by 700 votes.

New in PN: A band-aid on a festering hand wound

"The Epstein files and illegal boat strikes aren’t the only coverups taking place right now in the White House. There’s also something clearly wrong with the president’s health that the administration is trying to conceal from the public."

Something's up with Trump's health and we should really find out what it is.

Maybe, just maybe, some Republican elected officials around the country are getting tired of being threatened by a nearly 80 year old corrupt mob boss with a 36% approval rating who is increasingly unhinged and might actually start to grow spines. One can always hope.

Melania always looks like she's either bored, dyspeptic, or suffering from constipation, or perhaps all three.
He just needs to find the right pollster to give him the approval rating he wants. Surely there must be one out there somewhere. bsky.app/profile/atru...

Well, if the objective was to make government more efficient, he is right. But if Doge's objective was to kill hundreds of thousands of adults and children overseas, it was a brilliant success!

this would basically nullify limits on individual candidate contributions too since The Rich could use parties as middlemen to move $$$ to their preferred bribe recipient

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!
