Lots of people I know use substack and it’s depressing because the only thing we can do to fight the evil billionaires is to not use their products and yet we seem incapable of inconveniencing ourselves even slightly to fight evil.

The truly bizarre aspect is Reform having no policies designed to improve the life chances of young people - no lower student loans, affordable housing, reform of benefit caps or childcare. All about punishing those who, for whatever reason, do not have children.

Yup. My only baby died, I was so ill during the pregnancy I couldn’t work and I’m still struggling to regain financial ground after that and another 6 miscarriages. Reform would tax someone in that situation over their billionaire friends. I loathe their worldview and everything they stand for.
