Trump likes to see the bad guys to get away with it. I wonder why?
Trump has erased more than a billion dollars in restitution and nearly 2,000 convictions. You need data to understand a break this extreme—so we crunched the numbers.
How to get away with anything: Trump's sordid year of pardons
No president has ever forgiven this much fraud—or stiffed this many victims.

Trump is shutting down the Kennedy Center for the next 2 years for "renovations". This is pure pretext: the Center had a 250 million dollar overhaul just 7 years ago. Sales down 50%, cancellations rampant, and the "renovations" will likely be a gilded stylistic atrocity. www.vox.com/culture/4775...
Why is Trump so obsessed with the Kennedy Center?
The president has always loved theater. It’s never loved him back.

Law & Order: In 2022, Trump sued the Pulitzer Prize Board members. Now the board's legal counsel is subpoenaing the full, unredacted copy of special counsel Robert Mueller's report to verify claims Trump made were "defamatory."

criminal law prof here. There are laws against homicide, and federal agents are not in fact above them. Supremacy clause immunity is limited in scope, not an absolute barrier to state prosecution.
The death of Alex Pretti has been ruled a homicide, the Hennepin County medical examiner’s office said. Pretti was shot Jan. 24 during a chaotic encounter with federal immigration officers in Minneapolis. Jesus Ochoa and Raymundo Gutierrez were named as the two officers who fired at Pretti.

By speaking directly with the investigators, Mr. Trump may have provided significant ammunition to any future defense should the investigation yield criminal charges.

Would they go so far as to manufacture evidence? Of course Trump would, but will the FBI go along with it?

So today, Dr. Oz - who for some reason is a person in government - said we should all have to work longer and retire later and then maybe we will have earned the chance to meet with an AI doctor that, I assume, will advise we eat more roadkill using RFK Jr.’s recipe book, available for $29.99.

Trump isn't just suing the IRS. He's waging a war on it.

His regime has...

-Shut down the IRS's Direct File program, a huge gift to the tax prep industry

-Gutted IRS staff, leaving fewer employees to assist taxpayers

-Deprioritized federal tax prosecutions, letting tax cheats off the hook

Slingshot News: Kristi Noem stated that Antifa is an "advanced" and "sophisticated" network, outlandishly claiming it is "just as dangerous" as MS-13, TDA, ISIS, Hezbollah, and Hamas.

The sad part is, MAGAts believe this.

When the president was calling all Somali immigrants "garbage" who "come from hell" and "contribute nothing" to America and therefore needed to go "back where they came from" did you ask him to "stop the rhetoric," Tom?
Homan: "I begged for the last two months on TV for the rhetoric to stop. I said in March -- if the rhetoric doesn't stop, there is gonna be bloodshed. And there has been. I wish I wasn't right. I don't want to see anybody die."

Amazon just announced another round of 16,000 layoffs, months after it laid off 14,000 workers.

Reminder that Amazon CEO Andy Jassy raked in over $40M in 2024.

And Amazon is spending at least $75 million producing and promoting the Melania documentary.

The system is rigged.

Something important to understand about ICE thugs in the Twin Cities is that they're harassing innocent kids and parents at bus stops and schools every single day. Even after the Pretti shooting. It's terrorism.

Bovino is just the patsy - a noxious and odious fall guy. Stephen Miller is the architect and prime mover of the whole thing. Everything they do is at his direction - often after his threats. As long as he runs policy in the WH, nothing will change no matter how many Bovinos come and go.

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.

He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.

At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.

Wael died on Friday at age 30.

ICE caused his death.

They didn’t get to say goodbye.

There’s no way I could vote to give ICE more money.

Let’s be clear: ICE is now one of the wealthiest law enforcement agencies in this country, and they continue to prove they are ineffective and unqualified.
