Today would be a great day for the Phillies to get Nick Castellanos off the roster.

I've recently been tuning into the "D-Con Chamber", a podcast series from Star Trek: Enterprise actors Connor Trinneer & Dominic Keating. They've been getting good guests, which lead to interesting conversations.

That is if Keating can shut up and not interrupt his guests. My goodness.

I almost never contribute to Kickstarters. I have only contributed to campaigns on rare occasion, including the recent Doug Drexler documentary.

I nearly donated to the Voyager documentary years ago. I’m glad I didn’t.

I really want to write a book about the "Star Trek Director's School" where I interview the many Star Trek actors about their transition to directing Star Trek and other shows. I've always found it fascinating.

Happy anniversary to Star Trek: Generations, a deeply flawed movie that happens to hold a special place in my heart. It was one of my first vivid movie experiences (age 8) in the theater. I went with my mom, so excited to see my heroes from Star Trek: The Next Generation on the big screen.

The Kickstarter for the Doug Drexler Star Trek documentary is less than $2k from it's goal! If you haven't and can, please consider donating so we can have a documentary about one of the most diverse behind-the-scenes talents in Hollywood!

It's going to be fun to watch how Cole Hamels makes out on the ballot. If you pull his career stats against Felix Hernandez, they are VERY similar. I assume they'll have similar trajectories over the years, but we'll see.

This is awful.

I have some friends who gamble on games. Small time stuff for fun. That’s all fine.

But sports betting is clearly a growing problem on multiple fronts, most significantly, threats to players.
The Athletic polled hundreds of players from across the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL about their opinions surrounding how sports betting impacts players — the responses were haunting.

I understand why I’m seeing a lot of skepticism that this newly announced Star Trek movie will ever make it to screen. I get it. It’s been a decade of this.

The difference this time?

There’s a new boss in town.

Game Night is one of the best/fun movies of the last decade and if you haven't seen it, it's on Netflix. Go watch it.

I'm keeping my excitement at bay for now until more details are known. But I'm glad the sun has set on the Abrams version and something new is coming

Each year starting in January, I start keeping a list of great movies that I think may end up on my top ten of the year list.

That list finally has ten movies. Many more to come. We'll see how things shake out at the end.

As if 2025 wasn't bad enough, I guess I have to agree with Rick Berman on this? Contemporary dialogue in current Star Trek has taken me out of it quite a bit. I don't care about cursing or whatever. But I recall the "dude" drop in the "Picard" pilot and that entire interchange felt very weird

Boosting the Kickstarter for the Doug Drexler Star Trek documentary. 9 days to go, and still have a ways to go.

If interested, chip in if you can. There's still some cool backer rewards.
I threw some support at the Kickstarter for the documentary about the great Doug Drexler, whose artistic contributions to Star Trek cannot be overstated.

If you can, throw in a couple bucks. There's some excellent rewards for not a lot of dollars.
