When Deep Space Nine transitioned to the grey Starfleet uniform, the look of the show was perfected.

Bob Nightengale gets a lot of shit, but this is a hell of a headline.

The top image is what many Phillies fans will remember. For me, I want to remember the bottom one — the one of the leader of the team not letting one of his guys off the field after a mistake without knowing he’s got him. That’s some good leadership.

What’s so impressive about Kyle Schwarber’s place in all-time postseason home runs is his done it in far fewer plate appearances than the others on this list. Incredible

Please bear with me for the next 1-3 weeks as this professional (?) baseball team will be responsible for my stress and overall mental wellbeing.

One of the many reasons we live in Colorado: long hikes when the state glows.

I got my Star Trek: III The Search for Spock “Making of the Classic Film” book yesterday.

I’m a big fan of this series of books. The quality, both in content and design, is exceptional. Get in on these if you can.

I hope each film/series receives a book of its own.

Imagine being told “you’ll star in a Star Trek series” and this being the result

Kudos, Mets. Nice work.

Oh hell yes

I enjoyed my half day at #STLV yesterday. Sad I couldn’t stay longer.

Even sadder to realize when I got home that this medium size sweatshirt I bought is a woman’s size medium (it was in a sealed bag and just labeled “M”). If anyone is interested I’ll sell at a discount and ship to you.

I’ve had a suspicion for a while that someone who names beer at Denver’s Our Mutual Friend brewery is a Star Trek fan and this beer confirms that suspicion

Voyager is a pretty rough show. It has its moments, but I think it’s mostly forgettable. But Picardo’s “Doctor” is always a gem. You can just tell he’s back, man.

Again, very little interest in this show. But good for Picardo getting to do this again.

My display of the lineage of the starships Enterprise is finally complete. 1701-G has arrived.

Happy 85th birthday to Patrick Stewart, who will forever be cooler than all of us.

A shot from Star Trek III, from 1984, featuring actual physical models. Looks infinitely better than most CG slop we get in contemporary movies

Cool! Take him away from Star Trek to go do something different! It’ll be hard, but we’ll make it without him.

The EXO-6 Worf figure is incredible. This could be a photo of Michael Dorn in makeup. Really great work on this one.

Me. And you can tell how nervous I was given how my shoulders are extremely tight/tense. My wife took this in the last mile, when conditions finally calmed

My wife and I went open sea kayaking for 10 miles off of Kauai’s Napali coast the other day. Hands down one of the most strenuous physical experiences of my life. And due to the sea conditions, this was me the entire time

I watch a lot of baseball and it’s difficult to lose as many games as the Colorado Rockies have lost.
