several years ago I said there should be a reality TV show where each team is given a fixed budget and access to various DIY hardware stores/junkyards and 48 hours to build the best guillotine they can.
I'm still disappointed that no one has filled this gap in the market

Morning arrived like an appointment with the reality calibration repairperson, which is to say twelve hours late, thirty degrees off true, and very apologetic that we’re all in the wrong timeline, but that’s not covered by warranty and it’s also a different department.
