On this day 34 years ago, Ukrainians stood united and cast their votes in a historic referendum.

An overwhelming 90% voted for independence, breaking free from the Soviet Union and paving the way for a sovereign Ukraine.

Even Starmer has acknowledged that we need to move closer to the EU, but his Government have offered no serious plan to make this happen. If we want to boost trade, we must rejoin the Single Market and Customs Union.

Why Europe has to act fast:
1. The more funding Europe gives Ukraine, the earlier the war can end with a Ukrainian victory.
2. Faster funding means less total cost.
3. It also means far less Ukrainian losses.
4. Which also cuts the reconstruction costs.
5. & safeguards democracy.

Wild how people like this, just like russians, still can’t comprehend that the Revolution of Dignity wasn’t staged. It was Ukrainians choosing freedom over fear. Imperialists and small minds always assume someone else must be pulling the strings, because they’ve never seen a nation with a spine.

Actually, there were many "swindles" in the ref.
1. The gerrymandered non-domestic constituency.
2. The Leave camp's illegal spending.
3. The Leave camp's "battle plan" that stated they'd lose if they didn't lie about Single Market membership.
4. The non-binding status that prevented an anullmemt.

Ukrainian forces released videos of the operation against the two oilers Kairo and Virat in the Black Sea which tried to reach the Russian coast.

The message is clear:

If you are a shipowner trying to get Russian oil, expect that you will lose your whole ship.

Here's a full video of the RS-28 Sarmat launch on a very suborbital trajectory.

All those overhyped wunderwaffen of Putin's seem to be doing poorly lately. Not much of a sabre-rattle.

I assume they will soon let Medvedev crush another Finlandia so he makes more nuclear threats.

Yet another unarmed Ukraine soldier, who'd surrendered in Donetsk, is executed.

There's a big rise in executions - probably orders from Moscow not to take prisoners, confident the west will give in & forgive war crimes.

This photo is blurred & I've not published a more graphic one.
