In a blistering ruling, a Bush-appointed conservative federal judge said that ICE "has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence."

Congress must not give one more cent to this rogue agency.

When actual journalists went to the supposedly empty day cares Nick Shirley “exposed,” what they found is that there were children there. Government by shameless propaganda hacks is pretty much the definition of authoritarianism. 19thnews.org/2026/01/chil...
Here's what's really happening with child care fraud in Minnesota
Evidence is nowhere near the epidemic levels a viral YouTube video would suggest — but it hasn’t stopped a crackdown on child care funding. Here's a fact check.

Some rando named Nick Shirley shows up at a day care asking to film children and it’s a MAGA scandal when he’s understandably turned away. When AP journalists peacefully and legally film armed agents of the state who’ve already murdered two people in MPLS? Now that’s obviously unacceptable.

The reason Anne Frank's story has resonated with so many people over so many years is not because circumstances have to be exactly the same as her's for anyone to care, but because anything remotely like it is wrong, and societies moving in that direction should oppose it well before they get there.
