I first learned CPR in 2002. Best practices have changed since but the advice has not: get training. The more folks with the skill, the higher the likelihood that anyone survives a cardiac event. Year 24 today, back in for my recert. Have never had to perform CPR in the wild, hope I never will.

11 PM Storm Update: I just finished a call with leadership from @eriecounty.bsky.social. While a 10 mile wide snow band is hitting parts of Erie Co. hard, all report the response from the county, towns and NYS is good. Thus, the current travel advisory still remains in effect. See picture for more.
