“Dead” Ned Johnson turns out to be very much alive. It took him weeks to convince the system he was breathing and to start clawing his benefits back.

Overwhelming amount of media world chatter and concern about "60 Minutes" tonight. Why would CBS News promote the story about the Trump admin's deportations to CECOT on Friday, only to shelve it today? Correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi says it is "not an editorial decision, it is a political one."

Sharyn Alfonsi is an award-winning journalist who has worked for 60 Minutes for 20 years. Before that she reported for ABC, CBS & local news outlets. If Alfonsi says her story was spiked by Bari Weiss political reasons, that’s exactly what happened. www.nytimes.com/2025/12/21/b...

If you're a staffer at 60 Minutes who worked on that CECOT segment that got yanked by Bari Weiss at the last minute, figure out a way to leak it. Not saying it's an easy decision or there won't be consequences, but ask yourself why you got into journalism in the first place.

Gotta say it’s pretty remarkable that Bari Weiss is unfamiliar with the Streisand effect. This is about to be the most viewed 60 minutes episode in a long time.

(also lol the irony of The Free Press trying to kill a story because it makes the regime look bad)
Expect a "revolt" among 60 Minutes staff over Bari Weiss pulling the CECOT segment at the last minute, one network insider told me.

Another CBS News reporter added that a Rubicon had been crossed with this decision, which 60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi called "political" and not editorial.

We all knew this was coming when Larry Ellison took charge and Bari Weiss was installed to lead CBS News. Now it’s officially here and there is no going back for CBS unless ir releases the original version of the program ir was supposed to show tonight.
Here’s a gift link to this stunner Washpost story, quoting the 60 Minutes correspondent on the CECOT story, who accuses Bari Weiss of spiking the piece all because the Trump Administration wouldn’t comment.

“Government silence is a statement, not a VETO.”

From what I can gather, he’s actually hemorrhaging support, but the thing is that people are very rarely going to admit they got conned - at least in public.

I don’t think he’s got a whole lot of non-mindless MAGA left at this point.

Justice for Epstein’s victims requires full transparency and accountability.

Yet AG Pam Bondi seems happy to blatantly defy the law explicitly requiring the release of the files with redactions for victims only.

This lawless administration knows no bounds.

Release the full files now.
