Quite a damning repudiation of a woman the BBC repeatedly goes to for opinions on trans related issues...
Remember when Helen Joyce was called out as "not an expert" by Australian courts - Now Maya Forstater has been told the same in the Peggie judgment! 👏👏👏

The judgement states outright that the evidence submitted by her & Sex Matters was “not skilled evidence.”

This is the Tribunal’s exact wording!

Bullshit propaganda. There are diagnostic criteria for diagnosing depression as there are for all psychiatric and developmental conditions. These pricks need to remember that their job is to serve patients, not Wes Streeting's culture wars.
The fact that many GPs don't believe people with mental health conditions will not be news to those of us with mental health conditions who have had to deal with these cunts.

Kudos on the BBC for continuing to manufacture consent to take away our rights and healthcare though.
'Life being stressful is not an illness' - GPs on mental health over-diagnosis
Hundreds of GPs in England tell the BBC they are also worried about a lack of help for patients.

To be clear, nobody should be indiscriminately drone bombed, but liberals certainly adjust their shock and horror according to who is in the white house. Most liberals don't even know that Obama was also involved in 'double tap' incidents judged to violate international law.

Trans people would like a word with Labour and Streeting...
LGBT survivors tell of 'barbaric' NHS electric shock therapy
More than 250 people were subjected to painful electric shocks in NHS hospitals, the BBC discovers.

We know everyone is asking for your money this month, but here's a twist: We're NOT asking you to donate in December, we're asking you to spread the word.

Help the trans people and allies who don't know Assigned Media's reputation for excellence and originality in trans news find us!

A real telling detail of the times we live in is that if we hid her name and face, one could logically struggle to tell whether this verbal diarrhoea was coming from a Tory, Labour or Reform politician.
Note how these awful people are getting exactly the exclusions of children that they demanded and *that still isn’t enough for them*: they demand everyone be delighted about it and kiss their arses for being brilliant.

Well I'll give Labour credit where it's due. They are 'uniting the nation' because everybody fucking hates them.

Horror involves all sorts of uncomfortable themes, and tbh this game probably isn't for me, but one of the cores of corporate bootlicking seems to be straight men saying "it's ok to censor this because it offends me personally".
Horses shows "abuse, gory imagery (mutilation, blood), depictions of slavery, physical and psychological torture, domestic abuse, sexual assault, suicide"

It also implies someone is r*ped until they die. It's implied someone comitts necrophillia on the corpse.

Why are we mad about this ban?

Such a colossal load of lies.

The court case was about the definition of a woman as per the equality act, it has never dictated what people a private organisation is allowed to have as members.

If trans solidarity is important to you, cancel your @womensinstitute.bsky.social membership.
Women's Institute to stop offering trans women membership
The National Federation of Women's Institutes said it made the decision with “sincere regret”.

Something all the melts with hardons for nuclear weapons should read before giving Zack Polanski the business for thinking we need to replace NATO with a European alliance not in hock to the yanks.
Scott Bessent said something remarkable on Fox News yesterday. If Russia attacked Europe, he said, the US would... sell us weapons - but no troops. NATO kaput, in other words. Should this not be headline news across Europe? Is it not a sign of EU brain death that it is not?

Just as corrupt as the Tories.
Find things like this hugely annoying as someone who works in public affairs. There is no suggestion these MPs did anything wrong - indeed, meeting with businesses who want to invest in the UK is the sort of thing MPs *should* be doing, especially if they have plans to create new jobs in their seats

Is NHSE forcing young people to detransition?

Labour bods love to warble on about protecting democracy from Reform, but if your national broadcaster can't tell the truth because Starmer's government is desperate to kiss up to Trump, your democracy is already being trampled.
The important bit about this story - in reality the only important bit because nothing here is new - is that it delivers to an audience previously unaware of it a truth about the BBC's relationship to power: craven. www.theguardian.com/media/2025/n...
