So seeing Google desperate to cut employees to push more of this slop... Totally unsurprising.
It's a shitty platform anyway tbh, unless you're generating AI slop or far-right propaganda your content just gets buried. I've had the exact same video get under 1k views on YouPube and over 10k on TikTok.
Whatever his claims are, they don't matter. If you support sports bans based on unscientific transphobic bigotry then by definition you are a transphobic bigot.
Most people with principles have checked out of Musk's Nazi bar.
Says the guy who very clearly is a racist and an Islamophobe, lol. Poor Noah, he sure is dumb.
Funny, I was far from mature when I was 20 but even then I would never have gotten a Nazi tattoo. It's curious what one can excuse when it's their politicians doing it.
Labour want to make article 8 h
go away so that they can spy on us with ID cards, and force trans people to out themselves.
Sorry, I prefer real English over simplified English.
The left not holding people to a high enough standard is how we got the Clegg era lib dems, and post 1997 Labour. The left doesn't function well if we exist in the same moral vacuum as the right, and some people ignore that lesson regardless of how many times it gets repeated.
It also misses the point entirely. If they actually checked us out before blindly calling us white racists (especially Lina who isn't even white) they'd know most of us have gone far harder on Corbyn for this than Zarah. It's the most Labour brained defence imaginable.
It's all a false economy anyway. In this case, the claim to being democratic just means "we have zero standards and we're damn proud of it".
The involvement of these sorts of people is precisely why Labour has ended up as it has, that process definitely didn't begin with Starmer's leadership. And it's really quite shocking that for so many of Zarah and Corbyn's fans that the penny hasn't dropped yet.
She's still speaking for and supporting a party for whom 3 of the 6 people with controlling stakes are bigots. As for Shockat, his statements on the matter are vague to say the least, but the fact that he thinks YP should be nicer to landlords tells me enough.
I'm happy for people to say their piece if they can front a coherent response, but these comparisons are so laughably weak. I don't think anyone here is suggesting the Green party is perfect, but Corbyn has from the start chosen to become closely allied to anti-LGBT bigots. Zack has not.
It's also a generally incomparable notion, because of the way the UK's power grid is set up, renewables tend to decrease cost overall, not increase it. Which is something the younger voters who support the Greens tend to understand.
I didn't say it was fake, I said it was tokenistic. She has chosen to remain allied with bigots, and people who enable them which at best makes it a double standard, and at worst wildly hypocritical.
The Green party's leader wants to actively stamp out the influence of TERFs on the green party. Corbyn has shown no such inclination, in fact he gets further in bed with these people every day. And while Zarah has offered token criticism, she also continues to stand allied with them.
These people are officers, and have controlling stakes in the party, the "grassroots" do not.
Know what's also been almost universally missing from the conversation? any sense of empathy for how it makes trans people feel seeing supposed allies hop into bed with bigots.
The response to that has pretty much universally been dismissal, a suggestion that we should shut up and wait for trans rights to be decided by committee, actual transphobia, or immediate blocking. I've been blocked by as many YP bods as I have Labour bods.
When the response to those challenges has almost broadly been dismissive, what the hell sort of response do you expect? I've been challenging them on this as soon as I learned about the history of Corbyn's allies.
Well if it were me and I'd been misinterpreted, I'm not sure i'd follow up by linking to articles from American think-tanks that seem to reinforce the idea that I'm dismissing any notion of their policies being popular. I'd just correct myself and move on.
It's pretty sad to see supposed leftists weaponising identity politics as a shield against legitimate scrutiny in the same way liberals do.

Equality doesn't just mean getting all the toys, it also means equal scrutiny for the bad shit people do.
