So it turns out that if you put Vicks on your neck and chest overnight and then forget to wash it off next morning because you massively overslept, it will dry out and start flaking off like horrible menthol eczema while you’re in the middle of a meeting at work. Fun times.

I worry that people are relying too heavily on the fact that all this is unpopular in the polls. Most autocrats are unpopular with their people. Once you control every branch of government, muzzle the press, and start murdering your own citizens with impunity, you don't need to be popular.

I gave myself a concussion while walking my dog in October 2024. My dog was sniffing a Halloween decoration and then bolted when she triggered the motion activated lights and sound. That spun me around, and spinning caused me to trip over my own feet and fall into a retaining wall head first.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

My oldest niece is almost exactly the same age I was in 2003. My heart fell into my stomach the moment I realized that—Trump is going to sacrifice her generation to the meatgrinder in order to steal Venezuelan petrochemical wealth, just like Bush sacrificed mine for Iraq’s oil fields.
