I love Deadlands, but every once in a while I'll be reading an old book from Deadlands classic and get a chuckle at a real howler of a lie due to Lost Cause stuff.

This ended up being one of Grant and Sherman's worst moments of the war, as they both were very resistant to share credit, despite the fact that Thomas and Hooker did a far better job of handling the assault in a way that didn't put the army in danger.

Starting to believe in the suicide of the west, but it's just a series of centrist parties ignoring or actively assisting a growing fascist movement in order to keep donors happy and keep the market steady.

Ok. I’ll go: As I was trained and trained others, US military service members are legally, morally, & ethically obligated to refuse to follow unlawful orders.
Doing so is high risk, as it is a de facto case of guilty until proven innocent — but it is a duty to refuse to follow them all the same.

The time for Democrats to prove their theory that fascism could be defeated by normal methods within the system was the last decade, and they failed abysmally.
