A coworker took this from her apartment. I haven't seen a crowd this size before. Maybe the first Women's March? But it was much much warmer that day. ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA!

Today my kid came home from school crying because ICE was there, had taken some kids. He doesn't understand why adults are standing by, letting it happen. He's worried "we won't make it" through the current administration. He's worried they will come for him when they run out of others. He's angry.

TIL that Toys R Us is Spirit-ifying across the US because my husband stops what he was doing in the kitchen and says "Is that Turn Down for What?" and runs to the living room to see their float, which led to "they still exist?" and googling.

I really like Shaggy--his voice is odd and appealing, and he's definitely a *checks notes* "rumpshaker"--but I'm not sure I'd invite him to Thanksgiving. "No, Grandma, I'm sure you didn't actually see him buck naked on the bathroom floor. Let's have some more pie."

About to embark upon my first ever play of RuneQuest. If it's anything like character creation has gone, I have concerns.

It's hard to say which grocery is more cutthroat* at the holidays--Weilands (Columbus) or Heinen's (Cleveland, specifically Green Rd.). I've been rammed by an old woman with a cart at Heinen's. Lots of bumping, football like, at Weilands.
