There’s something deeply, but perhaps unfortunately, comforting about knowing a brand and being a loyal customer. Every year around this time I order the same model work boots from Keen, knowing they’ll last much more than a year through daily abuse.

On this day exactly 50 years ago, 29 men perished when the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, "The Mighty Fitz," sank in Lake Superior during a terrible November gale. I am re-releasimg Ep. 33 of Shipwrecks and Sea Dogs to commemorate this milestone.

On this day exactly 50 years ago, 29 men perished when the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, "The Mighty Fitz," sank in Lake Superior during a terrible November gale. I am re-releasimg Ep. 33 of Shipwrecks and Sea Dogs to commemorate this milestone.

Everyone is saying that the safest big city in America needs 5,000 more cops at $130k+, plus lifelong benefits. It’s common sense. Also I saw a homeless guy once and it wasn’t even Halloween.
There’s exactly three things to expect from Cuomo as mayor:

2. 5000 more cops will be hired at the expense of other city services.
3. He will very loudly say “I love Israel and Muslims are bad” as often as possible.
