ProPublica spoke to about 150 people who had lived in homeless encampments when cities cleared them out in “sweeps.”

We distributed notecards so people could tell us about the toll in their own words.

Lies. China bought $1.4 billion in soybeans from Illinois alone last year.

This year, due to Trump's policies, the U.S. is projected its lowest soybean exports to China since 2018—when Trump was also President.

Don't let Trump gaslight you. He's always been bad for our farmers.
Leavitt: "President Trump convinced President Xi to continue purchasing again American soybeans, which is something China wasn't doing under the last administration because they had no respect for President Biden or the country at the time."

Brian is correct, but what a world we have to live in that we have to note out loud that a for-profit corporation decided to continue airing a very profitable show.
These days, it's notable whenever a major media company ignores Trump's pressure and stands with talent. So let's note that Disney has renewed Jimmy Kimmel's contract for another year

The cruelty is the point
NEW: Rural health is in crisis. Congress created a $50B rescue package and gave states just weeks to compete for a slice of it.

$3.75B hinges on whether states pass a series of Trump-approved policies, including restrictions on SNAP.

Democrats and health advocates described the strategy as highly unusual, and some fear it could be wielded to favor political allies.

University of Oklahoma students gathered to protest a teaching assistant’s suspension Friday.

The instructor was placed on leave after she had given a failing grade to an OU student who cited the Bible as her only source.

I'm remembering that old story about groundskeepers at Versailles who would only turn the palace fountains on when the king came by.

COLLINS: You're expected to get the FIFA peace prize. What you say to people who say it conflicts with your pledge to strike Venezuela?

TRUMP: I've settled 8 wars. I don't know that I'm getting it. I've been hearing about a peace prize and I'm here to represent our country. But I did settle 8 wars.

- Bush v Gore chose the president on such nakedly partisan grounds they put in the opinion that it couldn't be used as future precedent

- Chief Justice Roberts and Justices Alito & Barrett all served on W's election legal team
