I'm honestly terrified of what the right will use this as justification for. They're itching to engage in violence against their enemies and this will give them the excuse to do so. This is why political violence is never acceptable. It just descends into uncontrollable chaos and more violence.

You can also ask your doctor to order a titer to assess your immunity (1967 baby here, titer showed MMR immunity, and it did for my mother too).
If you received a measles vaccine before 1968, you need to get the MMR vaccine now. If you've never been vaccinated, you absolutely need to get that shot asap.
Routine reminder that measles is so contagious that every infected person can be expected to infect 12-18 more people

Petty issue with a prescription refill today reminds me how messed up our healthcare system is. It shouldn't be this hard and if it's this hard for me, someone with insurance, time and means, I cannot imagine how challenging it is for someone raising children, working full-time, etc.
