This. When you whitewash genocide because of direct political connections, than you aren't worth considering watching.

Any musical artists that lines up to sing are of a similar vein. Not worth selling your soul. #BoycottEurovision #Eurovision #SBSEurovision
I love #Eurovision but I've not watched the SBS telecast since Israel began its #GazaGenocide. Please support boycott.eurovision.au as they urge SBS to cut the mic on genocide. Here's the link to their petition on Change.org c.org/cVkHXqCyLx

HOMELESSNESS IS NOT A DRUG PROBLEM IT'S A HOUSING PROBLEM

I'm so sick of y'all in my mentions with this talking point, just stop.

PEOPLE CANNOT AFFORD RENT. Half of renters are paying over 30% of their income on rent, another quarter are paying over 50%!!!

People need homes they can afford!

We cannot let this keep expanding. The job was hard enough already. This will make it impossible.
Over the past year and a bit, Australia's grid operator has moved data centres into their own category, and you can REALLY see why: here's their projected consumption and the range between scenarios, compared to the middle scenarios for ALL EVS AND ELECTRIFICATION

Please have a read of part 1 of my two-parter on this, here:

And keep and eye out for part 2: where I dig into shiny new data centre lobbying, and specifically the idea of 'forcing' data centres to "invest" (🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐🫠🤔🧐) in renewables

We have an unfortunate situation where the very age group who least understand the #digital revolution are ‘in charge’ & making huge errors in managing the #social, #cultural and #economic opportunities and #risks of massive changes in #technology,#communication, #society and #environment.#auspol
It is remarkable how all of these things seem to have gone mostly unremarked, or if not unremarked, then sort of shrugged off as irrelevant

To me, it's the spectacle of a predatory industry feasting on infrastructure that was meant to be used to eliminate fossil fuels, and killing climate progress
