‘There is no ceasefire for Palestinians 🇵🇸’
‘Ceasefire’ is a word for people to remain indifferent to the suffering’
‘We won’t let them remain in their comfort zone’

Imo this is on the same spectrum as the PoliceNZ scandal. Attacking women should be a disqualifier for any role and definitely an sppoitment that gives you power over others #nzpol 1/2

Women’s lives, our reputations, our safety are discounted. Misogny in action.

Gail Pachinko, commissioner spokesperson for gender equality: “this move demonstrates a lack of care and empathy for trans young people in Aotearoa. As set out in the Commission’s submission earlier this year, the consultation process was flawed and inappropriate. Unsurprisingly, so is the outcome.”

Stuff NZ has a headline that it's "not always predictable" that a man will murder his family AND an article about a murderer with decades of partner stalking & sex crime history that police weren't concerned by before he murdered, AND one about *yet another* cop covering up other cop sex crimes

• Puberty Blockers have been safely used since the 1980s.
• Puberty blockers are used for a variety of reasons in healthcare in addition to puberty blocking such as treatment for endometriosis, breast and prostate cancer, polycystic ovary syndrome and gender dysphoria.

So in a few month's time when the govt is telling you the social media under 16 age ban is to protect children, remember that they don't actually care about children's safety. They don't care about trans kids. They don't care about tamariki Māori. They don't care about feeding kids. #nzpol

Puberty blockers save young lives. This govt is literally admitting it's about anti-"woke" (their word) ideology. Which is why cis kids can still access them!

I'm begging you to take 3 min to write your MP, write to Labour MPs 🙏

Our dead kid rate is high enough tbh

One of the few good things about living in New Zealand is that you can look at the Labour Party and if you are like “wow I’m way more progressive than/left of them”, then you simply don’t have to give your party vote to them and move on with your life guilt free and vote for Greens 🤷🏽‍♀️
