Alright! Let's actually talk about this waterfall thing. It is an amazing showcase of many things that I adore from late 90s/early 2000s graphics.
I am replicating this in Blender through mere observation, so some things might not be fully accurate to the mind-boggling effects of the PS1.

Two things I learned from this thread:
1) Hippos are magnificent creatures you want to stay as far as possible away from.
2) The US was just one vote away from being a very different type of hellscape.

With October being right around the corner I find myself in the same spot as every year. I want to play horror games in the dark, for the atmosphere, but getting spooked by the slightest noise and never turn the game on for the rest of the month.

Finally beat "Horizon: Zero Dawn" today. The game is fantastic with likeable characters, dramatic story and a beautiful and well thought-out world. Fighting dinosaur robots with comparable primitive tools is fun, strategic and intense.
