When the torys cut disability benefits it was proven that 200,000 people where killed as a result in just a few years.
Those cuts where never rescinded, so quite alot more people have died since then that shouldn't have.

The rental sector is broken. Renters give 1/3 of our income to pay off the debt on someone else's asset. This is a direct transfer of wealth from workers to asset holders.
It’s time we brought this to an end and built housing for everyone.

The instinct of this government is ever further restrictions on civil liberties. It is authoritarian at its core, and at this stage needs to be opposed by anyone who at all considers themselves a progressive.
NEW: Home Office announces planned new anti-protest powers, mainly aimed at pro-Gaza protests like those for Palestine Action. Police will be able to consider the "cumulative impact" of repeated protests and potentially order that they be relocated.

This is genuinely horrific. I had to wait 8 months for my first appointment a decade ago and that was agonisingly long itself, yet seeing these times I feel incredibly lucky that I had to *only* wait 8 months to start accessing life saving healthcare
