Did anyone put Gabriel Munter's Breakfast of the Birds on the #birds feed yet? I used it as an image for a book cover.

A reminder that Nigel Farage has pocketed more than £400,000 this year from GB News.

No wonder Farage is cheering Trump on in his attacks on the BBC.

And in response to headlines like "there is no need for masks", here is the 1 minutes from my interview where I discuss basic preventative measures (including masks!).

Also note that NHS stats like A&E and Ambulance waits are lower than same time 3 years ago, even with earlier flu wave.

Not just the end of an era, but actually quite devastating news for anyone interested in the UK. Few people (including native Brits) have the capacity to explain the UK like AD. She has an eye for the problems - but always with deep sympathy, profound knowledge and a desire to truly understand.
So, my dear German followers...some News "in eigener Sache"!
Und bitte nicht schreien, 😚....ich bleibe in London !

If you're trying to convince your friends to spend time on Bluesky rather than X, maybe show them this. X is not "the public town square" or about "free speech." It's "just what Elon Musk wants you to see." If you see stuff he doesn't like he'll step in to make sure you don't see it for long.
If you scroll on X, you are only being shown what Elon wants you to see. If you create content on X, no one will see it unless Elon wants them to.
