New post just out:

"Never again?"

On how the radical right are trying to change our collective memory about World War Two as part of their assault on the postwar order.

And why that memory remains a critical defence against nationalism.

Nigel Farage really is a dickhead!

He complains about not being allowed to ask a question at PMQs, knowing that:

a) Questions are chosen randomly
b) He hasn't tabled a question since July

Farage's 'PMQs strike' mocked as he hasn't asked for extra questions in months
MPs are allowed to put their name into a ballot for extra questions at PMQs. The last time Nigel Farage's name was put into the 'shuffle' was in July

Further to this, the Lib-Dems won the most by-elections on what was been dubbed "Super Thursday"

Camberly was one of 7 wins out of 10 council seats up for grabs.

As well as Surrey, the party gained seats from Labour in Red Wall Preston, Lancs, beating Deform to the post.
Last night in Camberley, Surrey, where once you could stick a blue rosette in a dog turd and it would win.

It shows people know Deform UK Ltd is not the only alternative. They rejected BOTH turds.

And this is before the wheels properly fall off Fartrage's latest personal promotion bandwagon.

Why is the Reform Party's Russian links not a major news story?
Given how much the China spy case has dominated headlines, it really does beg the question: why is our political-media class so uninterested in Nathan Gill, his Russian bribes, his once close associate Nigel Farage, and Reform UK?

Our new Byline Times edition investigates what the media won't 👇

Does Robert Jenrick even realise English clubs were banned from playing in any European football competitions after May 1985 for the rest of the decade, returning only in 1990/91, after Heysel disaster, as UEFA + our government felt fans couldn't be policed safely travelling away?

Brown is an astute politician and again he makes sense. We must make clear the majority are resistant to right wing 'exclusionary nationalism', they are more concerned about what is happening to them. The way to stop Reform is show they exploit grievances but can't end them bsky.app/profile/theg...
