I'm tired of the 85 Bears but the dominance lives forever. 5 of the teams listed are the Bears of that era or related:
1984 Bears
1985 Bears
1986 Bears
1991 Eagles - Buddy Ryan
1991 Redskins - Wilber Marshall (6th in DPOY)
I realized that I did the Seahawks on the list of the top DVOA teams but not the top DVOA defenses including the playoffs.

2025 Seahawks 8th, 2013 Seahawks 11th

2000 Ravens are notable because they were so much better in the playoffs than the regular season.

He may not be getting elected this year, but King Félix has been the story of the cycle so far:

2025 - 81 yes, 313 no
2026 - 82 yes, 58 no

He's also rocking a 38.7% flip rate, the highest of any candidate, narrowly ahead of Beltrán's 38.1%

Kurt Suzuki got a one-year contract to manage the Angels.

Remember, when you're licking their boots by advocating for price-fixing, that MLB owners are already planning for a 2027 lockout 13 months ahead of the CBA expiration. They already know they're doing it.

Conventional wisdom says if you throw extremely hard as an MLB SP you at significant risk to blow out and fade away.

In reality, the hardest throwing MLB SPs are the most long-lasting/durable. I studied 236 MLB SPs that debuted from 2008-2015.

Might as well ask Jim Jones about best beverages for a picnic.
MLB commissioner Bud Selig has kept a fairly low public profile in recent years, but he just went on Mo Vaughn's podcast and praised salary caps in place in other major leagues. Some potential clues as baseball labor talks pick up next year. frontofficesports.com/selig-backs-...
