was watching old curling highlights and wow, i've never seen ergonomic brooms before!

Woody, the talking Christmas tree with a face in the Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The face is white-flesh-toned with very red cheeks and nose, big lips (with a marionette-style chin), and wide eyes with eyelashes that stare straight ahead. No eyebrows. The tree itself is a straight-sided cone made of green artificial-tree type branches and ball decorations. I think the thing that bothers me most about Woody is that it looks straight ahead, instead of down at the people around its base. But eyebrows would help too.

from the arcade era, and post-arcade. I was of an age that I never really Got Good at any arcade games; for me the Get Good age was NES. But I loved playing Spy Hunter, not sure what it was about it!

Crazy Taxi was just a great game.

~ Connection to the sinking of the Marine Electric On February 12, 1983 the ship Marine Electric was carrying a load of coal from Norfolk, Virginia to a power station in Somerset, Massachusetts. The worst storm in forty years blew up that night, and the ship sank at about four o'clock in the morning on February 13. The ship's chief mate, 59-year-old Robert M.
