I wrote #Rubble and #Ruin because I wanted a #ttrpg based on science and not magic. In it Engineers and Scientists replace Wizards as the party explores #OSR style "places of adventure"--but in a #biopunk post-apocalyptic world.

I love #Hermitcraft. If you like #Minecraft, check it out. It's a group of artists and professional Youtubers who tell an emergent story. I honestly think it is the most innovative thing I have seen in storytelling.

New session just started, good time to see if you like it.

#AI like #LLM and #GenAI make those who aren't very good at a task overestimate their initial skills. There's a link to the peer-reviewed paper in this report. I've had this conversation at work several times recently. Nice to see others are finding the same.

My father, a child of the Great Depression, said, "They're called banks because you put food in when you have extra, so you can take it out when you don't."
As other people have noted, if you have local food banks, now would be an excellent time to donate cash to them, if you have the cash to spare. We will be upping our donations to food banks and hunger-related charities here in Ohio.

The post from the Reagan Foundation is just complete gibberish.

The ad did not, in fact, misrepresent Reagan's views. But the idea that anyone needs the Reagan Foundation's goddamn permission to use the publicly broadcast official remarks of a former president and/or edit them for brevity is crazy

Not trying to detract from Mr. Stafford's great legacy or Chaosium's tribute. I just think it's ironic my first blog post was about how I, in fact, never met Greg Stafford. For me, Stafford is the hero of modern #ttrpg, not the corporate folks from TSR.
