This + not making "I'm going to kill myself" jokes when I'm minorly inconvenienced are parts of my vocabulary I worked out and it's like, tangible difference in mood. Like why say anything mean to myself if it ain't doing anything but making me feel sad!!
i know this isn't a hot take but please don't be self-deprecating. from personal experience a small tweak in internal dialogue can do a lot of heavy lifting for reorienting how you feel. there's power in the stories we tell ourselves. offer yourself the same kindness you would extend to others 🥺
