I was reading this article about an assisted suicide machine they tried in Switzerland and it discussed things like the ethics of it and its adherence to the hippocratic oath, but it left out its biggest problem: it looks tacky.

Something I really really like about Annihilation the book is how Vandermeer is a master at bringing almost overwhelming humanity to the lovecraftian style, but it never loses that sense of radical aimlessness and nihilism that's natural to Lovecraft's work

Everyone (cis and trans) replying "just stop boymodding" or "start voice training" should grow a bit of empathy and common sense (and a spine). Not everyone has the same opportunities, resources, time and skills to do that. Not everyone (yes, cis and trans) needs/wants to have passing.

I like that in the latest years people are rediscovering and reclaiming far cry 2. It was a fun game. I just never could get why there was this bizarre first person shooting minigame that interrupted the driving sometimes.

There is a crazy feeling about KCD that I get because usually very complex games in which you die fast and "aren't special" take place in bleak worlds, like the Anomaly mod for Stalker, or tarkov, but KCD's music, artistic direction and writing is very light and cheerful.
