I dont remember my very first because that was 15 years ago (yikes) when I was a kid. however, my first with my current group back in 2022 was a dwarf metal druid named Helda Softstone who would turn her fists into rocks and beat people up. she is one of my go-to one-shot characters still
Does anyone else remember their first Dungeons & Dragons character? How long ago did you play them, for how long, and what was their fate?

Mine was a half-elf rogue named Morestal in D&D 3.5e around 2006 or 2007. Only played for 2 or 3 sessions, but he did live!

They’re opposed to preventative healthcare policy because they believe they’re an intervention in the natural eugenic hierarchy, framing this as an issue of “government overreach” while they’re literally banning healthcare for disfavored groups assists in that effort.
California now requires corn masa flour to contain folic acid to reduce birth defects among Latinos. Public health officials have lauded these efforts, but some conservatives say it’s another form of government overreach.

make the immigration process easier
Continue to think that saying “abolish ICE” without explaining how you’ll enforce the law is a trap, but boosting this
"YouGov has ICE at 39% favorable, 52% unfavorable...But this top line really understates the intensity of public backlash to ICE and its tactics. In February 2025, just 19% of Americans held a strongly unfavorable view of ICE. Today, 40% do."

I want to know who "we" is because democrats are pro ice. do you have any socialists in there?

I still believe people should vote but it is very ignorant to think that will magically fix anything
The only way we protect ourselves from ICE is by winning the midterms.

could more high-ranking politicians say shit like this please?
Walz: "I couldn't help but think, and it scares me a bit -- 'The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most important directive.' It certainly feels like that in this moment."

also ice arent cops. this is equivalent to any civilian approaching a woman's car, trying to get in, then shooting her when she tries to escape. this was just another public execution
I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.

That is called murder when they do that.

Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.
