You know that adjective to describe how Spurs typically crumble in the face of opportunity, ‘Spursy’? I’d like to propose ‘United-y’. Dismal times for us United fans.

My mother died of complications following knee surgery, so I find it offensive that you ‘’need” my vote.
There are some truly unhinged bits in the piece about Glasman, as to be expected when dealing with Glasman, but seriously what the actual? That's...one hell of a conflation of terminology.

Watching morning news shows in the UK, France and Germany it is remarkable how in ignoring the issue they seem oblivious to how screw ups around potential imminent US strikes on Venezuela have risks for the global order as bad as those from Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

He shouldn’t ‘give evidence’. If there are sufficient grounds to charge this man with a serious offence (my sense is there are), he should face trial and, if convicted, serve the same custodial sentence as any other offender.

Reading helps, but writing makes the language yours.

📖 Reading = recognizing words.
✍️ Writing = forcing your brain to use them.

The difference between understanding and confidently expressing yourself is active practice.

Try writing a little every day! 💪

Agree. Coalition of the Willing has to stop deluding itself that after a ceasefire on reasonable terms it will send symbolic forces to Ukraine w US backing. UK, France, Germany, Poland &c must invest whatever it takes to defeat RU in UA, or they will have to fight it, without US help, further West.
It’s not a “US plan”, it’s Moscow’s plan, dictated to guilty men in the White House. Setting aside the injustices being pushed on Ukraine, this would be a disaster for European security & guarantee a war with 🇷🇺 in a few years, in which, presumably, 🇺🇸 and 🇷🇺 are on the same side.

This (from: www.ft.com/content/75ce...) is something you can *feel* if you are in the UK, especially if you've experienced living abroad. But infuriatingly successive governments and our entire media are somehow absolutely committed to suggesting anyone who wants to change this is the devil...

If this version of the US endures, my sense is that it would more formally attempt to rehabilitate Naziism. France under a long-term RN government, or the UK under Reform, would also give it a go. Trump, Le Pen, Farage et al are all shy admirers of Hitler.

In a democracy, the legislature would remove him from office immediately.
