Finally got some relief in my arm from my myofascial pain syndrome. God damn 10 straight days of debilitating nerve pain in your arm is not something I would recommend.
January 27, 2026 at 3:25 AM
Will I sleep or will the pain be too much!

If I can't sleep I need someone to keep me company.

I’m not sure people outside the Twin Cites realize the prevalence and the fear ICE is causing in Twin Cities. They are dining undercover pretending to be couples at restaurants, they are going to businesses and checking the license plates of cars to find employees. Every public place is compromised.

The UCP separatists held a meeting in Red Deer yesterday where the attendees talked about how seceding from Canada would allow Alberta to solve homelessness and develop underdeveloped areas of industry like...oil and gas and agriculture.

These are not informed, intelligent people.
This is gonna sound harsh but you gotta stop talking to these hicks out in bumfuck towns. I know these people. They know less than nothing, it all comes from newsmax and facebook. They live in a fantasy world and everything they have is because of the cities they hate. They aren’t real Americans.
NYTimes has truly outdone itself with this latest in its "ask white guys in diner" genre. Thank goodness we get a perspective on what's happening in Minneapolis from people in **Nisswa** who probably mean Brainerd when they say they "prefer not to go the city anymore" www.nytimes.com/2026/01/15/u...

I know this is getting lost in the noise, and the extent to which international news has largely moved on from Ukraine. The situation in the country and especially the capital is dire. Many at immediate risk, especially elderly. And more strikes coming to try and kill the civilian power grid totally
President Volodymyr Zelensky has declared a state of emergency in the energy sector, with particular attention on Kyiv, which is reeling from Russian attacks that have left residents without power, heating, or water in subzero temperatures.
Zelensky declares state of emergency in Ukraine’s energy sector as crisis worsens
"The consequences of Russian strikes and worsening weather conditions are severe," Zelensky wrote.

I do not recommend a shoulder injury that casues nerve pain in your shoulder that radiates down your entire right arm.

Cannot find a position that doesn't make me want to die.

I can't describe how bad Minneapolis feels right now. My neighbors are pulling kids out of school. The public schools are offering remote learning until 2/12. We are having conversations in our alleys about how to protect ourselves. It feels like a military occupation with a blockade.
The US Department of Agriculture suspends all federal funding to Minnesota, effective immediately.

In North America, most people absolutely don’t. And that’s one of the things that most changed for me and in me, after living in Ukraine during the war. I don’t see anything as impossible anymore, and it makes me more aware of the need to prepare for anything.
I do not think anybody is prepared for how quickly and how thoroughly things we've taken for granted our whole lives could change
Look, you may think the Mail is probably exaggerating but the news side of Telegraph is legit: if Euros are considering this, there's smoke

Made an Olive Dill Focciacia today. Made a sandwich with tomato, red pepper spread, parma de coppa, mozzarella, and fig balsamic with it for dinner.

Would again.

If anyone has any littles that want to hear the night before Christmas here's a narration my wife did to send to her Mom during the pandemic.

I may make an appearance at the end as Santa.
