yesterday i spent a bunch of time screwing around with getting MediaMonkey running in WINE via Bottles
i had to roll back to MediaMonkey v3 to get past the splash screen
and everything was going well until i realized that not only could it not play mp3s but also could not reliably edit their tags

i want to like the jq query language
but last time i tried to use it it ended up being faster to write a traditional program to get the output i wanted
basic querying is fine but trying to re-combine queried data into a new structure is where i ended up giving up
