When I see approval numbers separated by party, sure the Republicans still, more or less, like him, but a large chunk of the ones that don't are clearly calling themselves independents now, and they weren't a year ago.
Why read past headlines: This isn't about the approval numbers. This is about party ID, which I think matters even more.

When people start to disassociate from a party, it shows they are feeling shame. Bigger deal than mere disapproval.

They'll never admit they're wrong, but polling reveals quiet GOP regret

Reading people complaining about their bird being "skiddish" always makes my toes curl in pain. (Also it's not skittish, it's a wild prey animal that you are trying to treat like a puppy.)

I have never heard Bovino talk and oh my god it's not just short man's complex is it.
Bovino: "Think about it just for a second -- what the rape of a child actually entails"

Playing some stupid fantasy town building game and I'm embarrassed to admit I just spent 10 seconds trying to figure out why an Orc Hard would provide me with food.

Every now and then I go to the bird store and someone's talking about how they have a couple of greys, an amazon, a pair of cockatoos, a macaw, a few caiques, oh they just got an eclectus and have been talking to someone about getting some sun conures, and I remember the world is large and strange.

It occurs to me that with a little bit of ingenuity you could make a pretty good snow shovel guillotine.

Every now and then my partner says something insane like "no, I don't hear a voice in my head when I read" and like what the hell?

When this is over we need to crack down brutally on militias and second amendment bullshit. Like fuck you supreme court level of crack down. (Cause we are already going to need to figure out how to do that one) Burn compounds to the ground level crack down. Make some martyrs level crack down.

At friend's house, made a furry reference and his NB child did a double take and a "how do you know about furries?" Kid, just cause I'm old doesn't mean I'm geriatric.

Wasn't the Minnesota judge going to rule about this whole mess yesterday? What the fuck happened there?

God damnit I want to post about birds and games and food and strange things I've found in the city and stupid things I can't get out of my brain and all I can do is think about fucking politics and I'm so fucking sick of it. Can't we get to the [redacted] part of this all already?

I refuse to believe a 15 year old Honda smells like burning oil. They make them better than that.
"The engine puttered; the inside of his 15-year-old hatchback was starting to smell like burning oil.

Within seconds Stancil was on the Expedition’s tail, no more than a few metres off the white bumper. He laid into his horn. 'Meep-Meep-Meep!' It sounded like the Roadrunner. 'Meep-Meep-Meep!'"

As confrontations between ICE and protestors and activists grow more common, the tension only rises.

I wonder if CBS turning into Fox Lite and become a complete failure in the process might be a signal to other news orgs that maybe they should stop trying to do the same thing just a little less blatantly.
