Every time I consider aphantasia (the ability to 'see' images in your mind), I conclude that, at least in my case, it isn't at all linked to the creation of images through my hand and media (pen/paper, paint/canvas, whatever). I guess it could be different if my thing was hyperrealism, but-

I don't have many photos from childhood, so this one is rare. It's from my 7th birthday (and constitution day). I'm thrilled about a bag of goldfish crackers. On my right is my grandpa, in what I now see is Quite An Outfit. On my left is my dad, who would later decide he wasn't my dad at all.

The switch 2 pro controller by itself is a lovely upgrade. It...responds! My main experience of this is that getting all 8 whacks on a rock in ACNH is a lot less finicky than before 😌

While watching something else, I made an Annie Wilkes remark, and discovered that other human has NO knowledge of Misery, so I think I have to fix that, if only for the sake of catching references to it everywhere. Also, the movie will fit nicely in the '30-ish yo banger' comfort watch category

Was in town for abt 50hrs and it feels like it was a whole year. Nothing there feels like home, nothing stirs any fondness. When old dialect falls out of my mouth it feels like something playing a trick on me, like the place spiked my drink when I wasn't looking
