Want some proof that these folks are all surface no substance?

For fucking crying out loud.
Mr. Rubio said switching back to Times New Roman would “restore decorum and professionalism to the department’s written work.” Calibri is “informal” when compared to serif typefaces like Times New Roman and “clashes” with the department’s official letterhead. www.nytimes.com/2025/12/09/u...

Generalizing.

But:

IM SO FUCKING TIRED OF HEARING “HOW TO FIX EDUCATION” FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHAT GOES ON IN A CLASSROOM.

That’s a new dinner party conversation: Who is someone that you hate so much that, if given the time, energy, and crew, you’d produce a 4-part documentary on them?

There is always that one fucker who just swans up to the counter, ignoring the long-assed line, because they "have a question."

And I am ALWAYS the next one in line.

My childhood friend Chris is the guitarist for Gone Stereo. I'm kind of cringing at this.

Btw, I am shocked that The Beaches and The Beths are not on this. Maybe next year.

I am a dev and I dislike AI because

•it cannot operate without stolen data
•it does not work reliably
•it lies all the time
•it is terribly inefficient
•it pollutes
•it is/was oversold
•the biggest frauds champion it
•the people behind it are psychos

none of these are unreasonable complaints

That’s by design. Billionaires monetize rage bait, and it has the added bonus of keeping us fighting with each other while they rob us blind. But one day soon, all the anger from the culture wars they’ve cultivated to distract us from the class war will be turned on them.
One of the biggest revelations of the social media age imo is how much people are addicted to getting mad, so much so that they'll actively create reasons when there are none.
