This is a niche - and frankly not shocking - local union gripe. Why would a national news outlet cover this? Also, I have sources in the unions and I think (shockingly) the FP framing is a bit overblown. Cops are usually very skeptical of the left but also hopeful for better pay.

As a millennial I can’t help but see this as the new version of “Are the young’s killing the XYZ industry?”
As a former youth, it echos when adults would not listen to me because I was “young and naive,” rather than help me explore and process my feelings.

my unpopular opinion is that it's weirder that adults care so much that youth don't like sex scenes than youth not liking them.
