Side note: the one time I met Brooks, I mentioned being a fellow UChicago alum and he had an instant, viscerally negative reaction, like he was remembering a meal that made him sick. "Ugh" or something like that. I mean, U of C is where fun goes to die, sure! But was struck by the sense of shame.
Brooke: "Count me in, actually."

Never forget: www.yahoo.com/entertainmen...

Also, never forget: David Brooks left his wife of 28 years to marry his research assistant (on a book about "character").

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

Fox gives Trump a platform during their NFL broadcast to peddle his absurd lies about "prices are coming way down", "we inherited a mess," and "our country has over $17 trillion being invested in it." Absolutely shameful for all involved.

What do I know and I'm not saying it's a magic bullet or anything like that but it sure seems to me that Dems should run hard on the Argentina bailout. Not anywhere near the worst thing Trump has done, but i suspect it's unusually clarifying.
Jeffries: "It's perplexing to us that Rs refuse to spend a dime to protect the healthcare of the American people, but somehow the Trump admin found $40b to bail out a right-wing wannabe dictator in Argentina in ways that are also going to continue to hurt our soybean farmers in Iowa & the Midwest"
