Landscape format sketchbook open to its full stretch. I discovered pomegranates in high school. We’d sneak off grounds at lunch, stroll the aisles of a new store in town that sold fruits and veggies from places far from the instant meals served at home. Mom began the tradition of putting one in my stocking when she found out.

In Celtic folklore, the goddess Brigantia has the badger as her sacred animal totem. This connection highlights new life, wisdom, and the emergence of spring. The badger is an earth-dwelling creature that symbolises new life emerging from beneath the earth.
