I've already filled all 8 slots for Solaroids. Hilariously I was like "ok, I can get some rest after Lunoids, maybe finish up the other 2 series I put aside for it, focus on gestating" but instead here I go again with a time locked project. Nobody but me makes me do this
Okay, I've decided I want to work with community models again for Solaroids! If you're in the NYC era, queer∥bipoc∥disabled, want a little gig, and would like to be inspirational reference for a colorful alien, dm or email me.

If you support me on Patreon you get to see posts like this one including a painting that is ALMOST done. The rest of you get to see it when I fix a couple things. It's still kind of a sloppy painting overall though. #Human-Artist www.patreon.com/posts/148713...

protester tip:

if it's cloudy & white,
that's tear gas; no fright.
but if the cloud's green,
that's hexachloroethane.

As someone first licensed in L.A., I did not truly learn to drive until I had to navigate Boston. Non-controversial take.
driving in LA sucks shit but as someone who grew up in MA this is correct (for driving)

you can figure out where to go in Los Angeles, there are simply twenty thousand other cars in your way

if you miss a turn in Boston good luck ever finding your way back with all the one way streets
LA is easier to get around than Boston.

I went to the library and it helped (they had a book I'd been waiting for on Libby as a physical copy)
I am once again looking for stuff about aliens, because I'm short on ideas for the year's tentative Solaroids project, for which I also need consistent reference, if they're even to be humanoid

When I was like 19 I had a headfirst collision with a cop car on a call. We checked in with each other and were walking around talking for an hour. Months later as we fought over insurance claims he said he was transported from the scene with a neck brace by ambulance.
Just a cool story
